I’ll be taking a class on Service Orriented Architecture (SOA) soon at Cibit. I’ll probably get two books there but I’m not entirely convinced that these books are so great. After surfing the web I found two books that seem pretty good:
Have you read / heard of these? Are they any good?

Check out my blog SOA Book Network. The best book by far is Thomas Erl’s book http://soabooks.net/2006/12/17/serviceoriented-architecture-concepts-technology-and-design.aspx
His book gives you the fundamentals of SOA without any vendor specific information until the end of the book.

Hey cool, thanks for the tip! I saw that one a while ago but wasn’t sure. I have good experience with O’reilly books, hence the ones listed above. I’ll put this one on my list
Let me get this straight, you are trying to find books on how to catch a SOA?
emm… emm…. sure! why not!
