Books on SOA

I’ll be taking a class on Service Orriented Architecture (SOA) soon at Cibit. I’ll probably get two books there but I’m not entirely convinced that these books are so great. After surfing the web I found two books that seem pretty good:

Have you read / heard of these? Are they any good?

  1. Check out my blog SOA Book Network. The best book by far is Thomas Erl’s book http://soabooks.net/2006/12/17/serviceoriented-architecture-concepts-technology-and-design.aspx
His book gives you the fundamentals of SOA without any vendor specific information until the end of the book.

Hey cool, thanks for the tip! I saw that one a while ago but wasn’t sure. I have good experience with O’reilly books, hence the ones listed above. I’ll put this one on my list :-)
