It’s been a tough week so far. Monday was a long and tiresome day at work because of some big projects that are going on. I did have an interesting discussion about how to write Use Cases though. The main issue we had to think about is the relation between UCs and featurelists, and how we are going to deal with these in our project. Either way, it was a nice discussion and hopefully we’ll make some progress soon.
Tuesday was another long day at work. I tend to go home early because I have to play bridge. This time this didn’t happen, project got in the way. We are presently running a Proof of concept of a system that we may have to deploy all over the Netherlands and our team leader had some useful input for the project. Interesting but…. when I got home I only had 5 minutes for dinner
Shit happens. Bridge was fun, though. We played two teams matches, won one and lost one. On one game we had a nightmare score of -1100, partly because I fell in love with the wrong hand:

After a 1♦ opening by my RHO I decided that this hand was strong enough to double first and show my suit later. Well… LHO raised to 3♦, partner bid 4♠ so I had to bid 5♥. Before I know it Serena was playing 5♠ doubled… Ouch ![]()
Well, wednesday didn’t have many surprises and Thursday I had a nice seminar in Amstelveen about (Enterprise) architecture. All in all a nice, but busy, week! Hopefully today will be slow, I’m not in the mood to do much. Oh! If all goes well the printed versions of my dissertation will arrive today ![]()
