It’s been an interesting week with lots of bridge 
On Monday we played a teams competition. Unfortunately Serena was ill so I played with Michiel. It went pretty well, considering that we’ve never played together before. The biggest problem was difference in style I guess. On Tuesday I played the regular competition (matchpoints) with Peter Rado. Also the first time I played with him Again, things weng pretty smoothly. We had one bidding mistake (lack of agreements) and I managed to mess up one deal completely in defense. Shit happens

Apart from bridge we’ve managed to do a lot of other things as well. Monday I went to the dentist (oops!), Wednesday was a slow day at home considering Koen was running a fever. Today we received a big stack of building materials so we can start working on our attic again this weeken. Hans and Sabrine were supposed to come over to help but … they had other issues to tend to.
So: the plan for the weekend is relatively simple: clean up attic a bit tonight, bring Koen to Inge tomorrow morning, quickly get some groceries (man ‘s got to eat!) and then start working on the attic. Hopefully we can drop Koen off somewhere on Sunday too so we can get some more work done. We’ll see.
