Yesterday I decided that on tuesday, Koen and I would have an outing together. We have those often, but this time I wanted to make it special and I told him we would go and have some pie, just the two of us. He is pretend-playing to bake cakes all the time, so this seemed like a nice treat!
After some shopping and enjoying the work in the street (TWO excavators AND a green tractor, what a spectacle!) we went to the HEMA and rode the escalator (also one of Koen’s favorites in town) and went to get some drinks and…pie! He chose chocolate (really, he made the choice, not me…) and we sat down to dig in! Well, he did most of the digging and I just enjoyed watching him.
