After a few days of feeling miserable I am finally back on my feet again. Still feeling a little drowsy and taking meds but hey, at least I’m back up and running around again.

I’ve been a little under the weather since last tuesday. At first I thought / hoped it was only a minor cold. However, wednesday night things got a little worse. After two days sweating in bed it’s time to go to the doctor 
It seems like a viral infection and the beginning of a sinus infection. I’ve had that before and it is no fun. The next few days I have to keep tray of my temp (has to stay below 38.5°C), and things should improve by tuesday. If not… well, we’ll see

A while ago at work, a collegue showed me a drumoff between Animal (yes, the maniac from the muppetshow) and Buddy Rich (A famous jazz drummer). While having fun with Koen today I thought of this clip from the muppetshow again and started browsing the Web to see if I could find it. Luckily Google was my friend. The clip, as well as some info on Buddy Rich, can be found here. I guess Koen’s an Animal fan now 
By the way, Koen was an excellent helper today in the kitchen. We made spinach, meatballs, and potatoes today. Koen had a lot of fun tossing the potatoes in the water and throwing away things. He actually ate a bit of the meatballs! Yay, progress
