Once in a while a song suddenly hits you. I’ve heard Katie Belle several times before but for some strange reason it really hit me today while I was riding the train:

The lyrics are marvelous. From what I’ve read online Townes actually wrote this song as a lullaby for his son. How cool is that eh, if daddy writes you a lullaby like that…
